Accounts Administrator
Location: Ockley, Surrey, RH5 5RR
Monday – Friday – 8am – 5 pm
SIAN Wholesale Ltd is one of the fastest growing distributors of FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) within the UK. We are looking to recruit an office-based Accounts Assistant to join our existing finance team.
The successful candidate will need to be computer literate, have been working in accounts for a year or more and have the right attitude towards learning and developing.
Duties will include:
- Sales Invoice Processing
- Resolving Invoice Queries
- Processing Customer Receipts
- Credit Control & Issuing Customer Statements
- Purchase Ledger Entry
- Reconciling Supplier Statements
- Discrepancy Follow Up
- Multicurrency bank reconciliations
- Processing portal online payments
Duties may include:- Cashflow Management
- Supplier Payment preparation on our system and on the bank portal
- Booking of foreign currency contracts and maintaining
- Invoice Finance Reconciliation and Management
- Sales profitability analysis
- Filing of monthly VAT returns
- Month End Preparations & Analysis
The successful candidate will:
- Be great at prioritising and working to strict deadlines
- Have strong excel skills, attention to detail and good at analysing data
- Be adaptable and willing to learn, reliable and an excellent communicator
Additional requirements:
- A positive attitude and flexible approach to the role would be advantageous.
- Must drive a car as the office location is not accessible by public transport.
- An understanding of stock movement, valuation and costings would be an advantage.
- MS Dynamics NAV experience would be a benefit but not essential as training will be given.
