New ERP Systems

Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
SIAN Wholesale embarked on a systems upgrade to a fully integrated ERP system at the start of June 2017.
The promise of a totally efficient, cross department program that enables visibility on all aspects of the business from one system, anywhere in the world is the aim. Our vision was for the system to include my bespoke buying tool, through sales, operations, warehouse, finance and then onto my desk for review was a tall ask. So tall an order that we have had to split it into a few segments.
First step of Sales, Ops & Finance are starting to see the light at the end of a tricky tunnel. Our finance director Tracy Hall has been instrumental in guiding this process through the windy matrix of programming. It’s been a big change to the working practices that we’re second nature to ops.
We take the next step of introducing the warehouse to the systems next week and that is when we will really start to see the efficiency savings. Our warehouse team are looking forward to the implementation and we wish them the best of luck.
Looking forward to updating you further.
